In a world of advanced magic and science, Estrella finds the best way to solve a good mystery is to use unconventional methods. Working just within the law, Star Investigations does whatever it takes to get the job done. Estrella’s instincts tell her that there’s a greater mystery afoot though. Magi. P.I. is a Sci-Fi, Urban Fantasy, Detective story following Estrella Montes, a human unable to cast spells in a magical society. This web series is a spin-off of my main Magister world/story. It’s a first delve into the mystery genre, so it was a bit of a challenge for me. It will be a longer episodic series similar to Blue Devil.
For those of you unfamiliar, Magisters is a Roleplaying system I created similar to Dungeons and Dragons. It is a large fantasy universe with many of its aspects such as realms, religion, and magic system detailed in blog posts here. I plan to write more blog posts related to this universe to allow people to draw inspiration or maybe even host their own campaigns within the universe. I also plan to release a book series involving the major going-ons in the realms.

Black ash rained on the clear glass and stainless steel of the 2nd promenade of Central District. The rune-net was already filling with videos about the Summer and Spring Canals becoming murky. Posts popped persistently through the spectacle, some with concerns, others jokes, most just partaking in the phenomena. The modest Imagine Valley Library had caught fire in the early hours of the morning before opening.
