Okay the title is a joke. I don’t expect to become famous for anything but I did want to break down my plans for this blog and any future projects.
- I plan to write two blog posts per month, minimum. One blog post that can be just about anything (like this post!) and one about my game Magisters. I may post more frequently depending on if specific dates are coming up or if inspiration strikes!
- There will be at least four more books coming out, all in the same series. I hope to release two a year, but these books will be lengthy and may require more time. Since this is going to be a big investment in many different ways this may be subject to change, but I am passionate about this series and will do my best to publish it. After that, we’ll see if it’s beneficial for me to continue pursuing this career path, but until then we’ll just have to hope for the best!
- I’m going to be selling merch soon! I’ve set everything up on Threadless, I just need the artist I’ve been collaborating with to make some adjustments and soon I’ll have a merch store with both my books’ cover designs. As of right now, those will be the only things on the merch store. I’m considering more designs but my first two books don’t lend themselves to art as much as my future books will.
- Other projects? I wouldn’t mind possibly streaming on Twitch again, or making Tiktoks/Youtube videos. I general I go where my inspiration leads but for the most part I think I’m best suited to being an author since I’m able to put my books out on my own schedule without feeling like I’ll lose everything if I don’t force out more consistent entertainment. In general, I’m taking things slow until I know I can sustain myself on this type of content.
And that is my (short) list of plans for my future. There’s no telling if this will become my full time career, or how long I’ll be able to keep up with this blog, but I’m hoping to give it my all and have some kind of return. I think as long as people are enjoying my content and I’m even close to breaking even, I’m willing to keep at it.
